A great deal has happened throughout my life. I think that statement is true for all of us, but of course I can't speak for anyone else... or can I? Speak, that is... ? Yes, as a matter of fact, I can!

Let me explain...

Without going into a super long story, I will simply say that my life is fantastic! My family and I are thriving and enjoying happiness and success and wealth is all areas of our lives...financial, emotional, physical etc. So what of it? Am I bragging? Well no, not really despite the sound of this so far. My point is this: We got what we wanted. More specifically *I* got what I desired from this life. And what's more, I continue to get everything I need and desire in this life. How? well in simple form it comes down to this "Ask and ye shall receive". It's that simple and yet there is more to it than that - it's simple but it's deeper. Do you want to know how you can experience this too? You do? Good! Because I intend to tell you!

It's ordinary... but it's extrodinary. And this brings me to the main point...

How can we all experience this? How can everyone (YOU) experience this... this audacity of joy?? How can I share this with everyone? Those are the questions I began asked myself.

Around the time of my birthday last year I experienced a significant emotional and mental shift. This shift was deep and private and only felt by me - but it was quite the profound earthquake and while the vibration was on the inside ended up altering my outside landscape in more ways than one.

Something more was happening. I was ready to share an imporant and significant message with the world. The message was about finding the audacity to be truly, deeply and profoundly happy. It wasn't some paperback "positive thinking" manuscript - it was more than that. I knew it, I experienced it and I wanted everyone else to know it too.

For a while I felt as if I were standing on the event horizon of...something. It was just there and yet it wasn't undulating completely. This blog was a start and it gave way to me intending to write a book. It seemed like the most obvious path for me. I know how to write, I am fairly good at it - and what better way to organize my experience into words to share it with those who desire to hear it?

And so I have this blog, which I enjoy (and hope you do as well) ...and a very disorganized and sloppy manuscript.. but that wasn't it...there was something more I needed to do. The message was there inside me - but it wasn't translating with the intensity that it should considering the magnitude of it.

I reflected on it. Eventually, the image on the horizon sharpened and became very clear. Still though, my human apprehension kept me standing still. Then, one day over a casual coffee and fudge brownie I mentioned all this to my best friend. So in her certain and nonchalant way she said to me "You already know it, Laurette" I nodded but asked her to tell me anyway. She shrugged and said, "You have something to important to share - share it. And I don't mean write a book. Forget the book. It's not meant for the written word. Get up and say it." Of course she was right. The universe, the great energy of God and all that is - was practically screaming this at me. Now it was simply verbalized so that my human ears can confirm it.

So, armed with a lifetime of lessons, several years of significantly profound positive change experience and understanding, a strong and well researched understanding of spirituality, religion and philosophy, and my own proof-positive evidence of it all - I write to you today to announce that God Spoke and I listened.

I learned how to have the audacity to be happy - and I have now acquired the audicaity to share it with YOU!

Smiling In Public is officially going "Live" and will manifest in the 'real world' outside of this cyber container. I have decided to add my public speaking experience to everything I've learned to 'stand up and say it'....for everyone!

The messasge is for you.
It is for all of you who are ready to listen
All of you who are ready to hear it
All of you who are ready to change
All of you who are standing on the preicipus of that unclear something and are ready for the image to sharpen
All of you who can feel yourselves on the brink of something spectacular!
All of you who desire to find the audicaty to be deeply and profoundly - happy.
I've discovered the audacity folks, and I want to share it with you. And now it's time to bring it live!
