To Dig

xoxox

This afternoon my five year old son asked me to come see what he was doing.
I went to the far side of the yard and looked.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"Digging" he said.

"Digging what?" I asked.

"A hole" he said.

"Why?" I asked.

He continued to push the shovel into the ground.

Then, without looking up, he said,

"To dig"

It was the best conversation I'd had in a very long time.

Happiness doesn't take effort. It doesn't take objective. It doesn't take a plan.

All it takes is for one to simply...BE.

BE happy folks. Smile.
